ParkProperty Europe completes the first construction phase of the business park on schedule.

With the GreenWorkPark Grünheide, ParkProperty Europe is developing a modern, multi-use business park on a brownfield site just outside Berlin. The 40-hectare park combines economic activity, sustainable infrastructure, and education. The first construction phase was completed on schedule with the successful handover of the primary school to the municipality of Grünheide on August 6th of this year. The school building is thus the first project realized within the overall area and will open in time for the 2026/2027 school year.
After just 14 months of construction, the first building project in the GreenWorkPark Grünheide has been completed: a primary school – the second branch of the Gerhart-Hauptmann Primary School Grünheide (Mark) – with twelve classrooms and 200 after-school care places for a total of 300 pupils. Following the successful handover from ParkProperty Europe to the municipality, the official opening ceremony will take place on August 22nd, coinciding with the first day of school.

We are particularly pleased that ParkProperty Europe has completed this important project on schedule in such a short time, allowing us to start school operations as planned for the 2026/2027 school year.”

Ecological responsibility
As with all its projects, ParkProperty Europe is also involved in the GreenWorkPark Grünheide.
It takes its ecological responsibility seriously. Through the use of renewable energies, sustainable construction methods, the promotion of cycling and public transport, and development on a brownfield site (former military location), a future-oriented and environmentally friendly site development is being realized.
